The Tanner-Frank Foundation, founded in 1997 and based in New York, New York, is a public, societal benefit nonprofit focused on private grantmaking that continues the philanthropic work of Fred and Mary. All proceeds of the book will go to these philanthropic entities, including, but not limited to:

The Yale School of Management, for student scholarships, adding to the grants already made;

The Hotchkiss School and particularly its music education programs, adding to the grants already made;

The Salk Institute, for young investigator stipends and programs, adding to the grants already made; and

The Stanford Business School, for student scholarships, adding to the grants already made.
